We had so much fun working with Colten and Karissa for their engagement session! We started at Karissa's parent's house which is also the site where they'll be married next year. Karissa was actually my next-door neighbor growing up, so being able to capture this next phase of life for her was so meaningful. She's always had a love for horses and dogs, so they were sure to include their pup Dutton in photos as well as Karissa's incredibly well-behaved horse. Colten was down for anything and had incredible patience as we trudged through fields and wrangled the animals. Karissa really loves bright colors, so we tried finding a flower field as their second location, but with photos in early June it proved hard to find. So we found a beautiful field in the game lands which featured some wildflowers and was the perfect vista for a stunning sunset. We had the best time working with these two and can't wait for their big day next year! Enjoy their summer, golden hour engagement session!
