JJ and Danielle’s wedding day at Wind in the Willows in Harrisburg, PA was nothing short of a joy to capture. JJ and Danielle hired us last year after meeting us at the Wind in the Willow expo, and it was JJ and Danielle’s love for the outdoors, the Adirondacks and the Catskills that made us so excited for their engagement session and then their wedding. We’ve captured almost 20 weddings at Wind in the Willows at this point, but there was something different about this one. We’ve been in business for 10 years, and we made a decision about a year and a half ago to switch up the way we approach weddings. And honestly? We started just having fun again. Not that weddings weren’t fun, but when you have clients like JJ + Danielle that book us for our creativity, that allows us to play around, take different approaches, and fully enjoy the day alongside our couple. I love the new documentary approach we were able to take on their wedding day.

JJ and Danielle had a day filled with joy and real emotion. From emotional first looks with her dad and brothers to her first look with JJ, to great moments at cocktail hour, the day was so relaxed and authentic. Danielle’s one ask was fun drone photos at golden hour on the dock, and luckily they had a gorgeous sunset to meet that request! Enjoy their stunning, summer, Wind in the Willows wedding!
