Have I mentioned lately how much we love a backyard wedding? Colten and Karissa had the most stunning backyard wedding, and we were so grateful to be a part of their big day. Karissa and I have been friends since we were just days old, and I was incredibly honored when she chose us to capture their wedding day. Karissa wanted a bold, colorful wedding, and designed her florals herself to match her vision. Colten and Karissa involved their daughter Ashlin and their pup Dutton in their photos and their property made a stunning wedding venue. They had a pond-side ceremony and gorgeous tented reception with an open-air cocktail hour. I loved how their guests embraced the theme and wore bright colors, creating the elevated garden party look Karissa was aiming for. Colten and Karissa had the most stunning golden hour, and we snagged a few shots in their wheat field before we left for the evening.
