Cameron + Teresa

A White Mountain Elopement

Cameron + Teresa's winter elopement was an absolute dream. These two trusted us completely in their elopement planning. They were originally leaning towards a wedding date of February 7th, but I talked them into the 21st as that first weekend of February can be historically sub zero with wind chills, and I was unsure of what my healing from a recent surgery was going to look like and figured two more weeks couldn't hurt. Sure enough, that first weekend of February was in fact -30 in New Hampshire and on the morning of the 21st Cameron and Teresa were blessed with a fresh 6-8 inches of snow, creating a winter wonderland. Teresa wanted nothing more than a relaxed, snowy wedding day, and she couldn't have asked for a more stunning winter day!

Cameron and Teresa kept things small, with their only guests being her sister and her sister's boyfriend. They got ready at a stunning A-frame Airbnb, and had a first look out in the snow prior to their ceremony. The ceremony was a relaxed affair, which was officiated by my husband Jason. When the ceremony was over, Cameron and Teresa messaged their social circles to let them know they tied the Knot! While their families knew this was happening, this was a true elopement and no one else knew! I still can't believe Cameron and Teresa managed to keep the secret for almost 6 months. Teresa's sister Brenda prepared a stunning lunch spread before we left for our wintery hike for photos. The hike in and of itself was nothing short of an adventure. Yes, Teresa wore her wedding dress for the 1.5 mile, 900 feet of elevation mountain hike. Yes, there was 2.5 feet of snow on the ground. Yes, this was a hike where we all had to wear traction footwear to get up and down the mountain. In short... it was incredible. I've seen a lot of incredible elements during elopements, but Cameron and Teresa combined them all for truly the most adventurous way to start a life together. The views at the top of the mountain were stunning, and Cameron and Teresa are so easy to work with. Teresa looked like a snow queen and Cameron looked debonair in his tux against the white snow. They had a private vow reading at the top and shared a drink of truly terrible hot tea before heading back down the mountain. They had a relaxed week at the cabin to celebrate their honeymoon. This was an elopement day that couldn't have possibly went better. We had the perfect weather, and it was the best first day for Cameron and Teresa. Enjoy their stunning, White Mountains, New Hampshire elopement!
