We had such a wonderful time working with Mark and Megan for their Hickory Run State Park engagement session! Megan went to Hickory Run with her family when she was young, and had such fond memories at this stunning park, so their location choice was an easy one. We met Mark and Megan while they were DJ'ing a wedding we worked together back in October and immediately hit it off. Hanging out with them was like hanging out with old friends, and we share a love of the outdoors and a similar sense of humor. We can't wait to capture their wedding day in August of 2026!

Mark asked Megan to marry him at a gorgeous wildlife management area by the water where they had also spent time with their dogs when they first met. That morning, Mark had planned for Megan to go get her nails done and woke her up with a bottle of prosecco. Mark had asked Megan to take off work that day, so that along with her friend Stephanie showing up at the house and the nail appointment, by the time they arrived at the park she had an idea of what was going on. Their friend Michael stepped out of the bushes to welcome her and "Why don't you and I" by Santana played as Megan walked down the path to Mark. Mark asked Megan to marry him and Megan of course said yes! They later went out for lunch and then went to their engagement party hosted by Megan's sister in law.
