"To love someone is nothing, to be loved by someone is something, but to be loved by the one you love is everything." - Bill Russell

We had the best time working with Miguel and Ashley on their wedding day at Wind in the Willows! Ashley got ready with her girls in the morning while Miguel got ready with the guys. Ashley had an emotional first look with both her dad and brother and then she had photos with her bridesmaids and her two dogs, Pickles and Ducky. Miguel also had photos with his guys prior to the ceremony. Their outside ceremony, officiated by Ashley's brother was beautiful, and I loved their lock and key unity ceremony. While it may have been the hottest day of the year so far, Miguel and Ashley were so willing to take photos, and we dragged water with us everywhere and tried to take shade breaks to keep the energy high even in 99 degree heat. Miguel and Ashley went back out with us for golden hour photos (at which point the temps dropped significantly) and when Ashley entered back into the reception, Miguel orchestrated a Phantom of the Opera themed surprise since Ashley loves Phantom of the Opera. They danced the night away with their guests and had a wedding themed tee shirt toss instead of the traditional bouquet toss. They ended the evening with a glow stick send off. Their day was truly incredible and so much fun and we're grateful Miguel and Ashley chose us to capture their big day! Enjoy their stunning, summer, Wind in the Willows wedding!
