"Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage." - Lao Tzu

We had the best time working with Brian and Lorin at Seneca Lake for their engagement session! Brian and Lorin wanted to incorporate a wine tasting into their session, so we started their session at Atwater Vineyards on the east side of Seneca Lake. We loved getting to know Brian and Lorin a little better over the course of the tasting, and then we went outside for a few photos on the deck and around the property. From there, we went to Seneca Harbor where the lake was choppier than I'd ever seen. We dodged massive waves and tried to avoid the spray off the lake. Luckily, we avoided getting soaked at the lake... which is more than I can say for our last stop, Taughannock Falls. We had originally planned on taking photos at Watkins Glen but with the glen trail being closed until June, we adjusted and chose Taughannock Falls as our waterfall location. Brian and Lorin trekked back in to the falls with us and with the recent rains, the waterfall was raging. We all got entirely soaked in the waterfall but it was so much fun and worth it! We had a blast working with these two and can't wait for their big day in October of 2025!

Brian proposed to Lorin in October on a trip to Lake Placid. The first day of their trip was perfect and everyone was convinced that Brian was going to propose on the first day. Lorin's parents even stayed up until midnight waiting to hear the news, to no avail. Brian, however, stuck to his plan and on the last day of the trip, he took Lorin to a spot along Mirror Lake with a private bench and asked her to marry him. Lorin of course said yes! And shortly after, the skies opened up and it started to pour. Enjoy their beautiful, Seneca Lake engagement!
