"Love is not just something that happens to you: It is a certain way of being alive. Love is in fact an intensification of life a completeness a fullness a wholeness of life." - Thomas Merton

We had such a wonderful time working with Jeff and Jen in Acadia National Park for their elopement. Jeff and Jen trusted us as we put the timeline together for their day, and we made sure their day was packed with emotion and adventures. Jeff and Jen started off their day getting ready at their Airbnb. They opted for a first look in the front yard of their Airbnb, and Jeff was truly in awe by how gorgeous his bride was. After their first look, we packed up into their car and went to the beach down the road for some photos. From there, we got reservations ahead of time and drove up Cadillac Mountain, where they had a private vow reading. Cadillac was sunny and stunning, and we spent additional time on the mountain taking portraits. After Cadillac Mountain we visited Jordan Pond where Jeff and Jen ready letters to each other and Jen sang Jeff a song that she had written for him. Their ceremony was at Otter Cliffs, and Jason officiated his first ceremony and everything went perfectly. After their ceremony, we went to a stunning beach for some blue hour photos with lanterns just as the rain rolled in. We all stopped by an Irish Bar for a pre-dinner drink before Jeff and Jen's scheduled dinner. The Irish Bar was so festive and it was a blast walking around town with everyone yelling "congratulations!" to Jeff and Jen. Their dinner was at The Reading Room, where they also signed their marriage license and had a small cake cutting. It was such a wonderful elopement, and the perfect start to marriage for these incredible individuals. Enjoy their beautiful, fall, Acadia National Park elopement!
