Ruiwen + Naomi // A Summer, Longwood Gardens Engagement

We had such a great time hanging out with Ruiwen and Naomi at Longwood Gardens for their engagement session! We've been to Longwood Gardens many times, but seeing as this was Ruiwen and Naomi's first time at the gardens we really tried to hit the highlights so they could see as much of the gardens as possible! We even discovered a few new, gorgeous alcoves for photos. Ruiwen and Naomi were a blast to work with and we are beyond excited to work with them again on their wedding day next July! 

Ruiwen and Naomi planned a dinner date to Cooper's Seafood House in Scranton (yes, the one from the Office) to celebrate Ruiwen's junior recital, and the restaurant also holds a special place in their hearts as it was the site of their first date. Weeks before, Ruiwen convinced Naomi that he was interested in flying camera drones, so when he brought the drone along on the their dinner date, it didn't set off any red flags for her. Before entering the restaurant, Ruiwen flew the drone and then let Naomi take a turn at the controls. He set the drone in a mode where it flew in circles, continuously filming. Ruiwen got down on one knee and asked Naomi to marry him and she said yes! They had the drone footage as a memory of the proposal and had their dinner date to celebrate.
