"A successful marriage requires falling in love many times, always with the same person." - Mignon McLaughlin

We had such a fantastic time working with George and Emily in DC on their big day! Emily got ready with her mom and sister at the Tabard Inn while George got ready at the Mariott next door. George and Emily had their first look outside of the Tabard, and then we went over to Constitution Gardens for some photos prior to their ceremony. While their wedding day was on one of the hottest days of the year, George and Emily just had the best attitudes and had a blast spending time together on their big day. Their ceremony was at the War Memorial, and with their grounded floral arrangement and semi-circle seating, was one of the most beautiful ceremonies we've ever captured. George and Emily had around 50 guests attend their ceremony, and it was so easy to see how deeply loved they were by everyone in attendance. After some additional photos at the beautiful War Memorial, George and Emily were off to their reception at Iron Gate Restaurant which is the oldest continuously running restaurant in DC. Their reception was one for the books, as their reception set up was stunning and their food was incredible. George and Emily had a relaxing evening hanging out with their family and guests, and ended the evening with some night photos outside of Iron Gate and in the street. It was the most incredible intimate wedding and I know that these two are going to have the most incredible marriage. Enjoy their beautiful, DC wedding!
