Ethan + Maddie // A Caledonia State Park Engagement

We had such a blast working with Ethan and Maddie at Caledonia State Park for their engagement session! Ethan and Maddie are so sweet, and so easy to chat with. It threatened to rain during their session, but after some intense winds, the threat of rain passed and the sun came out. We started at the main section of Caledonia, and then traveled to Long Pine Run Reservoir to add a water element and some beautiful trees in Ethan + Maddie's photos. We loved working with these two for their engagement session and can't wait for their wedding day next August!

Maddie and her best friend Tess were walking their dogs behind her and Ethan's old apartment at the Country Club. They spotted someone about 100 yards away on the trail, and when they approached, Maddie saw that it was Ethan. Maddie was totally caught off guard because Ethan had said that he was going to be golfing. He hung photos of them all through the trees and surrounded the walkway with candles and flowers. He got down on one knee and asked Maddie to marry him on that trail. Maddie of course said yes! After the proposal, they went to her parents' house and celebrated with family and friends.
