Dominic + Tori // An Elegant, Longwood Gardens Engagement

We had such a wonderful time hanging out with Dominic and Tori at Longwood Gardens for their engagement session. From our initial meeting, Tori knew that she wanted to have her engagement photos at Longwood Gardens, and visiting the gardens was a first for her and Dom. So we hit the highlights, and we had the best time getting to know these two wonderful souls better. Dom and Tori are both so naturally photogenic that they truly made our job easy. We cannot wait for to capture their elegant wedding day next year!

Dominic proposed to Tori on his joint birthday party with his brother that his parents throw every year. This year, Tori noticed that the guest count had gone up significantly... up to 80 people. A tent was rented, they had live music, and they even invited Tori's parents. Tori thought this was a little odd but Dom explained it away as wanting to integrate their families more. Tori made centerpieces and designed the invites and the balloon arches. Dominic and his brother grew up playing instruments, and in the middle of the party they decided to play a song with the band. Tori realized that the song was "Nothing Can Change this Love" by Sam Cooke, one of their favorites. Tori realized everyone was dead silent and had their phone out recording while staring at her, when her hands started to shake and her smile grew bigger. When their song ended, Dom reached into the guitar case and got down on one knee with a small box. He asked Tori to marry him, and she couldn't say yes fast enough! It was an incredible proposal for two incredible humans. Enjoy their beautiful, Longwood Gardens engagement session!
