"Love is more than a noun- it is a verb; it is more than a feeling- it is caring, sharing, helping, sacrificing." - William Arthur Ward
We had such a fun time working with Matt and Sara around Seneca Lake for their engagement session. Even from their initial meeting, Matt and Sara had a clear vision of what they wanted their engagement session with us to look like. Sara's family has a house up in Seneca Lake and Sara loved the idea of getting her photos taken on a misty morning in the vines of the finger lakes region. So Sara mapped out where she wanted to have her photos taken, and as happens with all best laid plans... the weather threw us a curve ball. It was pouring the morning of Matt and Sara's engagement session, so we worked around the weather and eventually the rain let up for about an hour and a half so they could have their session downpour free. Matt and Sara were so fun to work with, giggling constantly and up for anything. It's easy to see how deeply these two love each other. We are beyond excited to capture their big day in October!
Matt proposed to Sara at the drive-ins where they had gone on several dates. They were watching Dr Strange Multiverse of Madness and when the movie ended Sara saw a flash from a camera and wondered why anyone would be taking photos of them? Turns out, it was Matt's sister taking a photo of the engagement... she was just a bit early. This cued Matt to ask Sara to marry him and Sara said yes! Their sisters were there to celebrate with them, and it was the cutest proposal! Enjoy their beautiful Seneca Lake Engagement Session!
