"Love is a friendship set to music." - Joseph Campbell
We had such a blast hanging out with Eric and Amanda for their engagement session at Ice Castles! Their session was originally scheduled for one of the coldest days in recorded history, with a real feel of -60, so by the time their rescheduled session rolled around the next week, the 30's were feeling rather toasty. Ice Castles is an incredible experience, and we loved exploring the property with these two. Eric and Amanda were so fun and up for anything. They were willing to go down the ice slide, grab a drink with us, and traipse around the ice castles battling the crowds for some amazing photos! We are beyond excited to work with them again for their big day next February at Rock Island Lake Club!
Eric proposed over Memorial Day weekend last year. Amanda knew that Eric was planning on proposing because they had gone ring shopping together, she just wasn't sure when he was going to pop the question. Over Memorial day weekend, Eric and Amanda were spending time at Amanda's grandma's lake house in the Poconos. Amanda's family was planning on going to a winery, so Eric and Amanda got dressed up, but before they left Amanda's mom offered to take some photos of them down by the water. While they were taking photos, Eric got down on one knee and asked Amanda to marry him. Amanda of course said yes! Enjoy their beautiful Ice Castles engagement session!
