Brian + Jessica // A Savannah, Georgia Elopement

Brian and Jessica truly had the perfect wedding day in Savannah, GA. As I was prepping these photos for their blog, I was fully reflecting back on what an incredible day they had. They started out their day getting ready with family and friends at two different Airbnbs in the city. Jess did her own makeup and her sister-in-law did her hair, and then her mom helped her get dressed before we left for Forsyth Park. We had scouted their ceremony location the day before at the park and that was to be the site of their first look. As Jess and I were approaching for the first look, there was a minor miscommunication on our end and I realized that Brian was facing towards us instead of away from us. Luckily, there was enough traffic in the park that day that Brian didn't see Jess and their first look was still a big surprise! They took some photos in the park and then around the city and had a private ring exchange prior to their ceremony. Roughly 35 friends and family traveled to Savannah for the ceremony and Jess's cousin officiated and did a fantastic job! After the ceremony, we did a few additional photos in the park before we packed up and hit the road for Wormsloe Historic Site. We had a blast exploring Wormsloe with Brian and Jess and that was also the site of their private first dance.

Before they went to their reception, we talked them in to one spur of the moment location, which was our hotel, the Kimpton Brice. The pool area had very Parisian vibes and it was the perfect area at golden hour. We walked along River Street with them and went to their reception on foot. Jess even strode through the streets barefoot, and Brian and Jess were living their best lives. Their reception at Vics on the River was a blast. Their guests were even up for some dancing, and we ended the evening with night photos. Brian and Jess closed down their reception and then wound up at a rooftop bar.... which they then closed down and went to a karaoke bar. It was a perfect day for two of the most deserving individuals. I'm so excited to be sharing more from their stunning elopement! Enjoy their elegant, Savannah, Georgia elopement!
