"Love is a partnership of two unique people who bring out the very best in each other, and who know that even though they are wonderful as individuals, they are even better together." - Barbara Cage
We had such a fantastic time working with Dakota + Hannah at Renfrew Park for their engagement session! Hannah grew up going to Renfew park, so when it came time to choose a location for their engagement session, the decision was easy! There are so many elements to Renfew Park including hiking trails, historic buildings and trees in full color! Dakota and Hannah were such a joy to hang out with and we cannot wait to capture their wedding day next June!
Dakota had mentioned to Hannah that he wanted to go to Gettysburg for dinner on Good Friday. Hannah had worked night shift the night before, so she was still tired. On the way to dinner, Dakota wanted to take a detour to "check out a fishing spot". Dakota doesn't fish in Gettysburg... at which point Hannah started to put two and two together about what was about to happen. They arrived at Sachs covered bridge where there were a lot of people milling about including a photographer getting their gear together. Hannah doesn't like being the center of attention so she started to get nervous and told Dakota "I'm tired and hungry you can't do this right now". But Dakota, knowing Hannah hates being the center of attention, took her down a trail along the creek where he proposed in private. She said yes! And then they went to dinner with their families at Appalachian Brewing Company in Gettysburg! Enjoy their Renfrew park engagement session!
