Miles + Brittney // A Grand Tetons, Wyoming Elopement

We truly had the most incredible time working with Miles and Brittney for their elopement in the Tetons. Miles and Brittney found their ceremony site in the days leading up to their elopement, and they couldn't have asked for a more gorgeous day to get married. Brittney spent the morning getting ready with friends and her mom and Miles' mom. Once hair and makeup was finished, Miles and Brittney packed up to start the hike up to their ceremony site. Their ceremony location was a 4.5 mile round trip hike with around 900 feet of elevation climb, providing the perfect site to both view the Teton mountain range, and also to escape any crowds. Miles and Brittney both changed at the top of the mountain, and it was so sweet watching Miles scout out any and all potential locations for threats before we photographed in that spot. Miles and Brittney had a first look once they were both changed, followed by a private vow reading on the mountain side.
I was blown away by the willingness of their family and friends to make the trek to their ceremony site. But within a few minutes of us arriving at the top, I watched the weaving line of their guests tackling the switchbacks and making their way up the mountain. Their 20 guests watched on while their friend Justin officiated the ceremony. After the ceremony, we grabbed a few photos with their family and friends and then worked our way back down the mountain. The sun came out just in time for the most stunning golden hour and even lit up the Tetons for us. After golden hour photos, we went back to the large Airbnb where their family and friends had gathered, decorated, and had started grilling and cooking. They spent the evening hanging out with family and friends, made complete with speeches and a cake cutting. I truly have no words for what a perfect day their elopement was. I felt so blessed to be able to capture their elopement, and how everything worked out perfectly at every turn from the weather to the flexibility of their guests to the beauty of the scenery. Miles and Brittney are going to have the most incredible marriage filled with plenty of adventure. Enjoy their stunning, Teton elopement!
