"To love someone is nothing, to be loved by someone is something, but to be loved by the one you love is everything." - Bill Russell
We had so much fun working with Billy and Tressa for their engagement photos at Hickory Run State Park. The weather for their session did not look promising at all, and it basically drizzled or poured all through their session, but Billy and Tressa were so amazing. We used umbrellas, found some under roof options, and took breaks to avoid the rain when necessary. These two are such sweet and genuine people, and we passed the time chatting about everything and anything. We cannot wait for their big day next August at Wind in the Willows!
Billy proposed to Tressa in Ocean City, MD on a day trip. Tressa and Billy have had their engagement session scheduled since spring, but they weren't officially engaged yet, so Billy had a timeline to work with. When he went to order the ring, he was informed there would be a three month wait time to receive the ring. That gave him plenty of time to plan the proposal in advance. So he raised butterflied that he had bought off of Amazon for the proposal and tried to book a photographer for the proposal, but the butterflies and the photographer weren't working out, so he swiftly switched gears. So they spent the day at the beach and then went to Harrison's Harbor Watch for dinner. When Tressa used the restroom, Billy asked a waitress to record the proposal on his phone then towards the end of dinner Billy asked Tressa to marry him and of course she said yes! Enjoy their beautifully rainy Hickory Run State Park engagement!
