"Love is the only gold."- Alfred Lord Tennyson
We had so much fun hanging out with Taylor and Collin in Cape May for their engagement photos! We started out at the Cape May lighthouse and then ended at Sunset beach. After our first location, it looked like we wouldn't have much of a sunset, and Sunset Beach almost completely cleared out. We didn't mind and appreciated the overcast vibes. But we saw a break in the clouds and wondered if we would luck out. Amazingly enough, the sun peaked through right before it set and we were granted with the most spectacular sunset. I couldn't believe it. Collin and Taylor were such a blast to work with. They were up for anything and are obviously one of the most photogenic couples. They're super down to earth and we cannot wait for their big day next July!
Collin had the ring for almost two years before he proposed. He got the ring right before COVID hit, but then with the onset of COVID, Collin and Taylor weren't able to venture anywhere engagement worthy, so he waited for his perfect moment. He asked her parents before proposing... well sort of. He sat down with her parents and immediately started crying. They figured out what he was trying to say and of course said yes. So he had a weekend perfectly planned to propose at the beach. When it rained all that weekend, he shifted gears and they decided to go for dinner in Philly. He suggested they get dressed up and they could go for a walk in the park before dinner. Taylor was game. However, of course it was raining before dinner, so they went for a walk after dinner. As they were walking through Rittenhouse Square, Collin asked Taylor to marry him and she said yes! She was so surprised and was so ecstatic the whole night! Enjoy their beautiful Cape May Engagement session!
