"To get the full value of joy you must have someone to divide it with." - Mark Twain
We had such a blast working with Matt + Reagan for their engagement session in Colorado. Colorado is a notoriously snowy place this time of year, so the location for their engagement session was up in the air right up until the day before their session. Matt and Reagan both loved the Dillon Reservoir area, so that was where we started for their session. But when we started hiking up to the overlook, it wasn't long before we realized the trail markers were snowed over, and we started crashing through the trodden path to thigh deep snow. We changed plans when I suggested Sapphire Point overlook, a spot that I had seen driving from Breckenridge to Keystone that morning. They were up for anything, and Sapphire Point proved to be a gem. We were still able to overlook the Dillon Reservoir for their photos, but we were also able to take a bit of the struggle out of the hike as well. We had an amazing time working with these two adventurers and can't wait for their big day next June!
Matt created an elaborate scavenger hunt all throughout Brigantine Beach for Reagan as his ploy to propose. He sent her to all of her favorite places where she received clues on where the next clue would be. When Reagan got to the last clue, it led her back to her grandmom's house at the shore where Matt was standing in the sunroom where he proposed. Around the corner, both sets of parents, Reagan's grandmom and great aunt, Matt's brother and his girlfriend and Reagan's two best friends watched on. Reagan of course said yes! Enjoy their beautiful, snowy, Colorado engagement!
