"It has made me better loving you... it has made me wiser, and easier, and brighter." - Henry James
We had the most wonderful time hanging out with Dalton and Kylee for their engagement session at Kylee's family cabin in Mifflinburg. Dalton and Kylee are so kind and accommodating, and I felt like we could have spent the whole afternoon hanging out with these two. It was chilly outside, but I didn't hear Kylee or Dalton complain about the cold once. I loved the cozy cabin vibes of their session, and we are so excited to capture their beautiful winter wedding at the Rusty Rail next January!
Dalton proposed to Kylee at the AQHA World Championship show in Oklahoma City. He flew out for the weekend to watch Kylee compete, and after one of her classes finished, they went to get some professional backdrop photos done with Kylee and her horse, her trainer's and her ribbons. Dalton said he would hold her horse as she picked out which photos she'd like to buy. When Kylee got off her horse, and turned around, Dalton was down on one knee. The professional photographer caught the entire thing on camera. Kylee didn't think there was any way Dalton would ever be able to surprise her with an engagement, but she was so focused on showing her horse that weekend, that the proposal came as a complete shock. Enjoy their winter, cabin engagement!
