"The best kind of love is the kind that awakens the soul and makes us reach for more, that plants a fire in our hearts and brings peace to our minds. And that's what you've given me. And that's what I'd hoped to give you forever." - Nicholas Sparks
We had so much fun working with Jake and Megan for their engagement session! Meghan reached out a few months ago and was interested in having their engagement photos taken in Cape May, where she and Jake got engaged. Jake and Meghan trusted our vision for their photos and were up for any location that we suggested. After their session, we went for drinks at Cape May Brewery and they booked us to capture their big day in 2024. I know these two are going to have the most gorgeous spring wedding in 2024 and their big day can't come soon enough!
Jake proposed to Meghan on an elaborate scavenger hunt around the Cape May area and coastal NJ. Jake's mom had coordinated a scavenger hunt for Jake and Meghan and all of their friends and this was their second annual beach scavenger hunt. On the first stop of the scavenger hunt Meghan met her best friend and Jake's best friend who gave her a note and flowers. On the next stop, she met Jake's family at Cape May Brewery. On the third stop she met her family who drove down for the day to be a part of the scavenger hunt. On the fourth stop, Meghan met Jake at a winery. As they walked into the vineyard together, Jake got down on one knee and proposed with their family and friends nearby. Meghan of course said yes! It was the perfect proposal for two incredible people. Enjoy their beautiful Cape May engagement!
