Curtis + Amanda // A Rocks State Park, Maryland Engagement

We had so much fun hanging out with Curtis and Amanda for their engagement session at Rocks State Park in Maryland. Curtis and Amanda are so sweet and adventurous. At one point in our hike, we saw other couples turning back from the trail because the trail had been washed out and would require hiking through water on slippery rocks. When I turned around I saw Curtis and Amanda behind me, just as determined to get to our location scrambling over rocks and through water. They were even willing to brave a lookout for photos with an impending thunderstorm approaching all for the best photos. I'm so glad these two found us and can't wait to capture their big day next year at Wind in the Willows!

Curtis and Amanda knew that they were going to be married even before Curtis officially proposed. While Curtis lives in Texas, he was visiting Amanda in Maryland for a few days and they decided to tour a few wedding venues. They found Wind in the Willows and knew it was going to be the one. After touring venues, they went to Amanda's parents house but Curtis begged her to stop at the lake by their house first. They took some selfies by the lake, walked around and right when they were about to get back in the car Curtis dropped down on one knee and asked Amanada to marry him. She of course said yes and then they were able to share the engagement with her family that evening! Enjoy their beautiful Rocks State Park engagement!
