"Grow old with me! The best is yet to be..." - Robert Browning
We had such an incredible time hanging out with Sam and Leah for their Millersburg engagement session. Sam and Leah truly have a love story for the ages, and working with them was such a joy. In high school, Leah heard stories from her grandfather about the young man who helped him out with the world-famous Millersburg ferryboat. Naturally, that boy was Sam, but Sam and Leah wouldn't have a chance to connect until, as fate would have it, they wound up at the same college, Kutztown University. Sam and Leah are two people that are so wonderful together, and it's evident to see that they are cut from the same cloth. They are two of the kindest humans you'll ever meet, and we can't wait to work with them on their big day at the Manor at Mountain View in November!
Sam proposed to Leah on their 5 year anniversary during a trip to New York City. Leah had an idea that he might propose on the trip, as Sam had mentioned before that he planned on proposing on a special occasion, and even dropped the hint that he made a reservation for a nice dinner in the city. As they were walking, they stopped at a pier that overlooked the harbor. Leah could tell Sam was nervous because he kept pacing around, and suspected the question might come. Sam was waiting for a break in the dance music that was drifting up from the bar below, and when that break came, he asked Leah to marry him. Leah said yes! Enjoy their beautiful winter, Millersburg engagement session!
