"The minute I heard my first love story, I started looking for you." - Rumi
We had the most amazing time working with Quinten and Katie for their engagement session! Back at their initial meeting, Katie said she wanted engagement photos in a wide open field. We have game lands close to our house that become the most magical flower field in the summer, and I knew instantly that it would be the perfect location for these two! We frolicked in the field and then ended their session at an extremely high and muddy Susquehanna River. It was such a muddy and slippery walk to get back to the spot that they could walk right in and I kept waiting for them to say they didn't want to go any further. But they didn't give any opposition and then they were even willing to take a dunk into the river. These two are simply amazing and we cannot wait for their backyard wedding next year!
Quinten and Katie took a trip to Miami in March and they were on their way to the pier to watch the sunset. Quinten was donning an American Flag fanny pack complete with a speaker, and when he told Katie he was going to play his musical fanny pack she thought nothing of it because... well... Miami.... and also 'Murica, At one point in the walk Quinten stopped and all Katie could think was "What the heck are you doing? We're going to miss this sunset?!" When she turned around and he was on one knee it took a bit to process what was happening because she was still thinking about being late for the sunset. At which point he asked her to marry him and Katie of course said yes. Enjoy their fun, warm, summer engagement session!
