"There is only one happiness in this life, to love and be loved." - George Sand

We had so much fun hanging out with Mike + Katie in Philly for their engagement session this past weekend. Photographing their engagement session was like hanging out with old friends, and we loved exploring the city with these two. We started out at the Philadelphia Art Museum and the famous Rocky Steps. From there, we ventured to city hall and Love Park. After that, we ended at the South Philly Taproom which is one of their favorite breweries! Their friend Val graciously drove us to all the spots as city traffic during a session can get a little daunting. It was such a blast and I cannot wait for their wedding day next year at the gorgeous Moonstone Manor!

Mike proposed to Katie on Christmas Eve. She had worked late the night before and was rushing around to get ready for his family's Christmas dinner. Mike kept telling Katie not to worry and not rush, but to no avail. At one point he grabbed her and said "Can you just sit? I'm trying to do something here." At which point he went on to say all the nice things which lead to the big questions, and of course Katie said yes! They were then able to enjoy all their family festivities as an engaged couple! Enjoy their beautiful Philadelphia engagement session!
