"A successful marriage requires falling in love many times, always with the same person." - Mignon McLaughlin
We had an amazing time hanging out with Bailey and Erin for their engagement session at One Barn Farm. We could not have asked for a more perfect spring evening for their session. I always love exploring a couple's venue with them for their engagement session, seeing the excitement as they start to picture their big day on the grounds. Bailey and Erin are such incredibly sweet humans and I'm so glad they found us to photograph their big day! We cannot wait for their wedding next May at One Barn Farm!
Bailey proposed to Erin on a hike on the Appalachian Trail. The original plan was to propose on top of a fire tower that they had carved their initials in to, but the ground was so dry that day and as a result there was a guard in the fire tower watching for fires when they arrived. Figuring it might be awkward to propose right next to a random guard, they pressed onward. As they were hiking, they were told that there was high rattlesnake activity that day on the trail which is terrifying. When they stopped at a lookout they even saw a huge rattlesnake skin. They turned to go back on the trail and Bailey made Erin take the lead and she was hesitant and rightfully so. She was not wearing the proper anti-rattlesnake footwear. But she pressed on and took the lead. When she turned around, she saw Bailey had not followed her, but instead was down on one knee. Erin said yes! Enjoy their perfect spring, One Barn farm engagement session!
