"Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same." - Emily Bronte
We had such a wonderful time working with Kyle and Sarah for their Gettysburg engagement session. Kyle reached out a few days before their session and said that the day of their engagement session looked like it was going to be a rainy one. Whenever there is rain, I always say we have three options; we can switch up the time, we can push through, or we can reschedule. Around the middle of the day on the day of their engagement session, the weather was ugly. It was windy and downpouring, but ultimately Kyle and Sarah chose to fight through. When we arrived to their session, the sun decided to peak out. About halfway through their session, there was about a 15 minute bout of very hard rain, and then it cleared up for the rest of the evening. The overcast evening woke up the fall colors of the world though creating some beautiful photos. We had such an amazing time hanging out with these two and can't wait for their wedding at the beautiful Wind in the Willows in just over a month!
Kyle proposed to Sarah during their trip to Williamsburg VA. These two both love American history (thus Gettysburg as the engagement session location), and were also going to stop at Busch Gardens as well. They were walking around Colonial Williamsburg late at night with all the lanterns and lights lit up (not in a ghost tour mind you), and Kyle proposed to Sarah in front of the old capital building. Sarah said yes, and Kyle and Sarah are just so perfect together. Enjoy their fall, Gettysburg engagement session!
