"I love you not only for what you are, but for what I am when I am with you. I love you not only for what you have made of yourself, but for what you are making me. I love you for the part of me that you bring out." - Elizabeth Barrett Browning
We had such a great time working with Cody and Katie for their engagement session in Vermont! Cody and Katie live in Massachusetts and we'll be traveling to New Hampshire for their wedding this July. The original plan was for Cody and Katie to come down to PA for their engagement session this past October while visiting Katie's sister for a the weekend, but due to COVID restrictions in New England, travel to PA wasn't possible. So we devised a plan to meet up in Vermont on our ski trip for some snowy winter photos, and our plan B turned out to be perfect. These two were so gracious in planning Plan B of their engagement session and trusted our vision for their wintery session. We dropped a pin along the Appalachian Trail in the Green Mountain National forest, and we met up and had the opportunity to shoot in Narnia with these two. They were such a blast to work with and we cannot wait for their big day in July!
Cody proposed to Katie at a park along the Ocean that overlooked Boston. It was September and Cody had been hiding the ring under his dorm room bed for about a month. Katie went out to lunch with her friends and was supposed to meet Cody afterwards. When he picked her up she started to get the gut feeling that he was going to propose, and when they arrived at the park that they used to hang out when they first started dating, her hunch grew stronger. He walked up up the hill to the overlook and pulled out the ring and proposed. Katie of course said yes! Cody and Katie's room mates pulled in about a minute later to help them celebrate. Enjoy their wintery Vermont engagement session!
