"Nobody has ever measured, not even poets, how much the heart can hold." - Zelda Fitzgerald
We had such a great time hiking and exploring at Ricketts Glen with Steve and Tessa for their engagement session! Steve and Tessa actually went up to Ricketts Glen the day before their engagements session and accidentally did the full falls hike (which comes out to be 7+ miles), so I loved their dedication to their session. These two were just a blast to work with and they were truly up for anything! We scrambled up over cliff banks and they were even willing to dance in the creek towards the end of their session! Their outdoorsy engagement session matched their personalities to a T, and they were just such a joy to work with!
Steve proposed to Tessa with an elaborate scavenger hunt. He had her drive to her parents home, which was an an hour and 45 minutes away from their house, and work her way back up to their house from there, and the hunt lasted all day. When she got back to the house, he had thrown a party with their family and friends, and she had no idea he was going to propose right up until the time he popped the question. Tessa told me that they just do little random things like this for each other, so she wasn't really expecting anything. He asked and she said yes, and the rest is history! Enjoy their beautiful, summer, Ricketts Glen engagement session!
