"Unless you love someone, nothing else makes sense." -E.E Cummings
We had a blast hanging out with Brandon + Cheyenne for their engagement session. When they suggested Hickory Run State Park for their session, I was immediately game. I had always seen incredible photos of the boulder field, and we always love shooting in new places. Through 20 minutes of driving on dirt roads, we eventually wound our way back to the boulder field. For those of you who don't know... the boulder field at Hickory Run state park is a large field of just boulders.... no pathways between them and no stable ground. So as I watched Cheyenne (in heels) and Brandon, carefully make their way across the boulder field for photos, I gained a whole new respect for these two and thought "yes... these are our people." We cannot wait for their wedding next October at Frosty Valley!
Brandon proposed to Cheyenne on their 7 year anniversary. Cheyenne was still at home in her pajamas when Brandon stopped home from work. He told her to come into the kitchen where he had flowers and a card waiting. Cheyenne just assumed the presents were for their anniversary, but then he asked her to marry him and she said yes! Enjoy their Hickory Run State Park engagement session!
