Brian + Catherine // A Ricketts Glen State Park Engagement

"Unless you love someone, nothing else makes sense." - E.E. Cummings

We had such an amazing time hiking with Brian + Catherine in Ricketts Glen! The Ricketts Glen waterfall hike is four miles top to bottom, and we typically expect the hike + photos to take approximately three to four hours in total, so it always takes a really special couple to choose Ricketts Glen as their location for their engagement session. The hike was just so laid-back and Brian + Catherine were up for anything, it honestly just felt like hanging out with old friends. I also could not get over Catherine's gorgeous white boho dress that she chose for her first outfit, and seeing that outfit made me so excited to see their boho vibes they plan on incorporating into their wedding day next September!

Brian proposed to Catherine at Lake Arthur in Moran State Park, outside of Pittsburgh. It was the perfect place to propose because he took Catherine there on their first date, and he proposed almost exactly a year later in the same location! She of course said yes, and I am so excited for their big day! Enjoy their Ricketts Glen State Park engagement session!

The wedding pictures of Brian and Catherine will be cherished memories for them. They were able to capture the moment and make it last forever with their pictures. One of the most important aspects of a wedding is capturing the moment, but it can get expensive to hire a professional photographer. Nowadays, there are many options for photographers that offer affordable packages for smaller weddings or even just one photo. It's not uncommon for people to use their smartphones as cameras when they have them with them at all times.
