"What is love? I have met in the streets a very poor young man who was in love. His hat was old, his coat worn, the water passed through his shoes and the stars through his soul." - Victor Hugo

We had such an amazing time working with Grant and Jess for their engagement session! When we first met Grant and Jess, Jess told me that she was an art teacher and then after seeing her incredible artwork, I was even more excited to work with a fellow creative spirit. Grant and Jess are adventurous and creative, everything we look for in our clients. They plan on having a National Park themed wedding next year, so they wanted to include their National Park map and National park passports in their photos. They also included their adorable dog, Buddy as well, who was just one of the most well-behaved pups we've ever worked with. Jess had the idea of taking a row boat out at Codorus State Park, which has been a dream of mine to shoot in a row boat. When I suggested they bring flowers for the boat as well they were all for it and they made it happen! Grant and Jess are incredible people and we are just so excited for their wedding next year!

Grant proposed to Jess on a family vacation to Assateague Island. The trip also gave them an opportunity to cross a national Seashore off their list as well! Grant took Jess out to the beach at sunset to ask her to marry him and she said yes! I know these two are going to have a life full of incredible adventures together. Enjoy their Stone Mill 1792 and Codorus State Park engagement Photos!
